The reality fairy has waved her wand: To evolve PFTA into a robust, online showcase for agency talent, it’s going to take certain resources: like money, time, web development, and administration. To launch many of the features we talked about in Tuesday’s chat, it would take thousands of dollars and months of development. Not saying it’s impossible. I’m just saying that it could be a while.
There is an alternative…I’m pretty sure that I could do a simplified, bare-boned version myself in WordPress or iWeb. It wouldn’t be fancy, but it would at least get everybody’s work up in one place so agencies could start finding you.
Quite frankly, I’m thinking that none of us have much time to spare in our searches. What this would be lacking in spit and polish, it would be gaining in timeliness.
But I’ll leave it up to you. Would you rather be up in the next week, with the best presentation I can do myself? Or would you rather wait a couple months for us to find developers and financial backers?n
