The upside of not requiring registration for agencies is that there is no barrier to their participation. They get to search for talent anonymously, for free.
The downside is that it makes it impossible for me to track who’s getting calls, interviews, or gigs. I do see that lots of people are being clicked on, but other than a couple of emails from folks who were contacted by agencies and headhunters, I’m pretty much in the dark.
I would love to hear from you if you were contacted through PFTA. In its current form, I can’t think it is responsible for anyone getting flooded with calls just yet.
Soon though.

I’ll be sure to keep you in loop. I can tell you that a good amount of my site traffic is directed from that section on PFTA. No offers yet, but as a wise man once ended his blog post, “Soon though.”
I have been getting some traffic to my site (http://timisbusy.com). I’m grateful for that. Hoping for something more concrete soon though. Thanks just the same.
I’m with the others. Good amount of traffic to my site from the link, which is always a plus, but no offers just yet. I do thank you for the attention.
No offers yet. BTW, in “Creative Talent”, kudos to those using thier bios to be creative and fun. (Faves: #13, #17, #21, #25, #34, #59, #64 and #66). Thanks and good luck.
Same as the others. No offers yet, but a good deal of traffic from PFTA. Grateful as well.
I just found your site. I feel your pain. I was laid off from a nation radio rep firm in Nov. I just landed in traditional Outdoor Advertising sales. Now my day is filled with cold calls and dead end leads. They say the economy has nowhere to go but up. I hope so.
Best of luck.
I definitely got some hits on my site directed from PFTA. Thank you!
