Daily Scheduled Columns & Events

Picture 6

As with most advertising creatives, committing to a regular schedule does not come naturally to me. So what I’m about to commit to feels a little funny. (Then again, entrepreneurism in general feels unnatural, so why stay in my comfort zone now? )

From now on, there will be something resembling a schedule to Please Feed The Animals.  Mostly it’s for people to have something consistent to look forward to. It also provides a little sorely-needed order to my own life.

Without further ado, here’s what Monday-Friday on PFTA will look like from now on (on top of the normal posts by me and other Animals):

Monday: Coaching Column

Jeanne Schad of Internal Relations (who we also interviewed for Lemonade) will provide career and business insights learned from her years managing clients from the inside of  agencies and coaching them from the outside. This space may open up to other career and business coaches in the future, but Jeanne has agreed to offer her amazing insights as we get our coaching feature up and running.

Tuesday: PFTA Live Chats, 2:00 PM EST

This was really popular when we did it early on so I’m bringing it back. Each Tuesday, we will be holding a live chat where you can ask me about the goings on of Please Feed The Animals, offer feedback & criticism, exchange ideas with each other, etc. I’ll also have special guests from time to time.

Wednesday: Job Of The Week

Every Wednesday, I’ll highlight some agency or other hiring company with an open position that I think is a great fit for the Animals.

Thursday: Account Service Column

Josh Copeland is a digital account service veteran, having spent the last ten years at Tribal DDB, Arc Worldwide and Elevate Studios. Josh’s campaigns have been featured in AdAge, Adweek, OMMA, ad:tech and Creativity Magazine. Like Jeanne’s coaching column, the Account Service column may open up to additional writers in the future, but I’m ecstatic that Josh is helping us launch this segment.

Friday: Animal Of The Week

When I hear of someone in the Kingdom who is doing something amazing with their career, I will call them out here. Let me know if you’d like to be considered for this segment.
