Because I’m a firm believer in the post-employment economy, and because they have about the coolest agency name in the world, and because in this one instance I feel like being a dictator, I have declared Big Spaceship PFTA’s hiring company of the week.
Big Spaceship just posted two gigs for a FREELANCE Strategist and [...]

Once upon a time, I applied to Campbell Ewald for a copywriter position in their creative department. I didn’t get it. But, I’m no grudge holder. Especially when they entered into the brave, new world of PFTA’s beta site.

Dallas-agency Moroch is looking for an ACD/CD-level copywriter. I don’t know a ton about these guys, but their work looks smart and very well designed. Find out more over at our job board. And since they’re no real way to apply directly from the beta site, be sure to tell them PFTA sent you.

Shawn has a couple of openings for account service people, which need filling. And quickly.
If you’re interested, read below. [...]

Senior Communications Planner
Associate Media Director
Account Director

But anyone who is currently active on this site will be asked to register onto the beta (which will probably be something like beta.pleasefeedtheanimals.com) to start uploading their bios, [...]
In Ad-Job Drought, It’s Time to Think Outside the Industry
by Erik Proulx
This article originally appeared in the TalentWorks section of Advertising Age.
During sustained droughts, the yellow-bellied slider turtle instinctively relocates toward the direction of the nearest body of water. He doesn’t wait in cracked mud for a deluge that will never arrive. He doesn’t look [...]
